REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENEST

Salyna is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and has been working at Springcrest Dental since July 2015. She has earned two Associate’s Degrees from Lansing Community College – one in general studies (spring 2014) and one in dental hygiene (spring 2015). Salyna continued her studies through Siena Heights University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies with a minor in Healthcare Management.

Salyna chose this career path because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. She enjoys teaching her patients about their oral health so that they can make educated efforts to be the healthiest they can be…something that hits very close to home for Salyna. “The oral cancer screenings and the head and neck exams given by our team can save lives. This is something that saved the life of my husband. Thyroid cancer had spread to his lymph nodes and down his neck. Luckily, the lump was found early enough, and after two surgeries and radiation, he is now in remission. I look forward to meeting new patients and to building on the relationships that are already formed with our current patients. We are a family here, and we do everything possible to make you feel as though you are a part of that family.”

Salyna and her husband have four children and a dog. All of their children are, or were, actively involved in sports and band. Her son, who has graduated, was a wrestler and football player in high school and her daughter is in band, volleyball, and basketball. Her stepdaughter is in band and swimming and is attending college classes in culinary arts while completing high school and her stepson is in band and basketball and enjoys fishing. Hank, the family dog, is a black Lab and is very much a part of the family. He loves swimming in the lake, playing fetch, and chasing birds. Salyna and her family all enjoy spending time at their family cottage and sitting around the campfire.

MICHELLE

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENEST

Michelle started her dental path as an assistant in high school and continued her education to become a hygienist and has been practicing since 1995.  She enjoys educating patients on how to improve their oral and systemic health.  Michelle’s favorite part of her job is informing patients on ways to keep their teeth functioning properly for the rest of their lives.  She loves getting to know her patients and building long term relationships.

Michelle lives in Brooklyn with her husband and has two adult sons.  She enjoys living on the lake, spending time with family and friends, and spending time at her cabin in Grayling.

KATY

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Katy joined Springcrest Dental Associates in Spring of 2023 as a Dental Assistant. She joined Springcrest because of her passion for dentistry and wanting a company that is making a difference. Katy grew up in Morenci, MI and has always been interested in teeth. After high school Katy went to Ross College where she received her Dental Assisting Certificate. She is currently attending Jackson College to get her associates in Heath Science and is planning to further her education in Myofunctional Therapy.

In her spare time Katy enjoys chasing after her four children and her pit bull named Maverick. She loves being able to watch her children play sports with baseball and softball being her favorite. Katy currently resides in Hudson MI. She also enjoys watching movies, playing games and spending time outside. Katy hopes to be able to make everyone who comes to Springcrest Dental become a part of the family.

JAZMYN

OFFICE MANAGER

Jazmyn is the Office Manager and prior was the Financial & Insurance Coordinator at Springcrest Dental Associates.  She joined the practice in hopes of growing her knowledge in the field of dentistry and gaining a better work/home life balance that the position offered.  Jazmyn continues to learn and train so she can provide the best financial and insurance options for our patients to ensure they are able to continue to receive the care that they deserve.

Jazmyn and her spouse have two young daughters who love to keep them on their toes.  Jazmyn enjoys spending her free time with her family exploring Michigan and continuing her newfound journey with CrossFit.

When asked what she enjoys most about her position at Springcrest, Jazmyn said, “I enjoy coming to work every day and meeting new patients as well as helping our current patients with financing.  I love helping patients understand their insurance plans so they can get the most out of their benefits.  I can’t wait to continue growing, giving back, and making you feel a part of the SDA family.”

BECKY

CLINICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Becky is the Clinical Operations Manager.  Before joining Springcrest Dental Associates she was a stay-at-home mom, then became a head cook at her children’s school.  Becky loves the work that she is doing at Springcrest and is in the process of learning everything she can to continue to grow in the field of dentistry.

Becky loves spending time with her husband and three sons.  She loves to travel, read, and spend time with family.  Becky is also very active in CrossFit and enjoys running.
