After attending the dental hygiene program at Lansing Community College, I was fortunate to begin working with Dr. Lamoreaux at Springcrest Dental Associates.

I love this job: everyday is different.  It’s great when you start with young children and see them “grow-up” every six months.  It’s nice to have fun with them, and be a positive influence in their lives, even for a little while.

Dr. Lamoreaux and Dr. Rutledge are a pleasure to work with.  They always take the time to explain all options for needed treatments, without pressuring our patients to make a quick decision.

Their dental work is excellent, and I trust all of my family’s dental care with them.

Everyone here at Springcrest Dental Associates is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for our patients.

I am very fortunate to be a part of this dental practice.

About twenty years ago, when my children were in school full time, I decided to go to Lansing Community College.  I earned a degree for dental hygiene and for assisting.  Dentistry was family friendly with flexible hours and a positive, clean environment.

The best part of dental hygiene is being with a patient, one on one, for an hour every six months.  Patients become friends.  I value educating them about their oral health, but I also learn so much from them.  It’s a privilege to serve them and their families.

I have been a dental hygienist at Springcrest Dental Associates for eleven years.  Dr. Lamoreaux has supported all of us, staff and patients, through good times and bad.  When someone is hurting, Dr. Lamoreaux is quick to lend a hand and a prayer.

Dr. Rutledge is an awesome, dedicated young dentist that we enjoy working with.  We have a very bright future with her.

I graduated from Kellogg Community College Dental Hygiene program in 1997.  I started my career with one year working for a General Dentist before joining Dr. Lamoreaux at Springcrest in 1998.

I got interested in dentistry as a child going through braces.  I had a passion to do something in the medical field so I could help people.  With the encouragement of my own dental hygienist, I applied to a few dental hygiene programs and got accepted right out of high school.

I am so blessed to have a job that allows me to build personal relationships with patients.  I really enjoy beginning with new patients; building confidence in them and helping them realize how important their dental health is.  It is exceptionally rewarding to see the transformation in patients after educating them on their oral health care.  It’s also exciting to know that after a child’s first visit, they cannot wait to come back for their next visit to have fun.

I have been so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Springcrest Family for as long as I have.  Dr. Lamoreaux has been real supportive of me when it comes to my family.  He has seen me through getting married and bringing two wonderful boys into this world.  I am excited for the future Dr. Rutledge holds here at Springcrest.  She is compassionate and thorough when it comes to dentistry.  Springcrest Dental Associates is family to me, co-workers and patients.

As a junior in high school I became interested in a career as a dental hygienist.  After completing one year in the health occupation program through the Career Center, I knew dentistry was the perfect fit for me.

I graduated with a degree in dental hygiene in 1993.  In 1998 I joined the Springcrest family.  I enjoy the friendly and compassionate atmosphere Springcrest offers.

I am thankful to be part of a team that believes in delivering the best possible service to our valued patients.

I am Dr. Lamoreaux’s  assistant and I went into dentistry for the hours!

I attended Lansing Community College and Washtenaw Community College to achieve my license as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and then a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).

I love working for Springcrest Dental Associates.  We are just a big caring family.  I have been here eight years now and love waking up every morning, happy I’m going to a job I enjoy.  Dr. Lamoreaux is a great dentist and an awesome boss to work for.

After many years in retail, I felt I needed a career change.  I’ve worked for the office for eight years as a dental assistant and have enjoyed every year more and more.  I have since taken classes to become  certified and then more classes to become a registered dental assistant, the pinnacle of this section of the profession.  I enjoy the variety of things I do in helping take care of the patients.  The doctor’s and staff here are great to work with.

After working in the healthcare field for twenty years, I decided to make a change.  I’ve now worked for Dr. Lamoreaux for six years and I couldn’t ask for a better group of coworkers.  I work at the front desk handling all of the financial aspects of our patients’ visits, including insurance billing, as well as scheduling and feeding the office fish, Wonder Woman and Violet.  My favorite part of my job is talking with our patients.  Several are like my second family—and some are my actual family!  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, our large extended families and friends.

It has been a true joy meeting patient’s needs by working with insurance, keeping up with the financial side of the practice and scheduling treatment for patients during the last six years at Springcrest Dental.  I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful balance between my family life and profession, where my colleagues and our patients are more like an extended family.  Working with such an exceptional team makes every day great.

Outside of work I stay busy enjoying time with my family and helping our family business.
